Youth Ministry

Ministry Head: Bro Joel Goh (Mentor: Sis Jorraine)

Affectionately known as the “Teens”, this group of young people aged 13 to 20 has a single goal in mind: to nurture today’s youth into a faithful generation committed to serving God and extending His kingdom on earth. This ministry caters primarily for teenaged church-goers attending CBC Puchong, with visitors specially invited by members. Led by a small core team comprising older teens, this group comes under the adult supervision of the Youth Ministry Heads.

The Youth Ministry works hard to direct members towards spiritual strength and maturity through weekly Friday LNG meetings. Held at our church premises, praise and worship, sharing and praying for each other are followed by fun and edifying fellowship. Other activities -- usually organized annually -- include youth camps, community outreach and mission trips, of which the youth play a major part. Sundays for the younger members usually mean separate classes conducted by group leaders; for the older ones, sit-ins on the Sunday sermon are the norm. Communication within the group is carried out via its Facebook group (for members only), along with a WhatsApp chat group hosting more casual banter.
